Recent Snows Add Up To Great Skiing!

Was it just me or did it just snow for a week? Ok, we didn't get the massive pile up they saw out west, but after several days of snowfall the trails have been fantastic. Located at the bottom of Crawford Notch, Attitash sits at the end of a perfect snow funnel, bringing extra inches that add up to great ski fun.

Trails at Bearfoot Creek Homes Now Open!

Recent storms and cold snow-making temperatures have opened the trails at Bearfoot Creek homes. Ski-in and ski-out all day using the lower Abenaki trail and Abenaki lift extension. Check out this drivers eye view of snow grooming on the trails at Attiash Mountain.

Snowmaking Begins - November 12, 2009

Abenaki Chairlift at Attitash Mountain

Ariella Neville of Joy Tarbell Realty was among the first skiers and boarders to ride the newly extended Abenaki Chairlift on Bear Peak at Attitash Mountain. The lift carried its first passengers through Bearfoot Creek late Friday morning, December 14th 2008. The trails and the lift opened just in time for weekend skiers who are excited about the fresh snow falling throughout New England. Following two disappointing ski seasons, the 2008 turned out to be a great one. Attitash's $2.5 million snow-making upgrade combined with plenty of snow all season long created lots of enthusiasm. Last year Attitash saw another deep snow year with early snow in November and near record breaking powder days.

Skiers at Trailside Homes on Attitash Mountain

With snow sparkling on the trees and rooftops of million dollar homes, skiing through Bearfoot Creek is truly a unique New England experience. Panoramic mountain views and the ambiance of these traditional ski lodge style homes add a unique dimension to the slopes of Attitash. The new development has some concrete benefits as well. There are now three new trails on Bear Peak: Billy's BBQ, Chillymack and the Bearfoot Creek Trail. These trails provide additional beginner terrain on the mountain. The extension of the Abenaki Chairlift added a new half-way unloading station and allows the chairlift to run 30% faster. If the past two years are any indication, this year will be another fabulous ski season in New Hampshire, and especially at Attitash Mountain.
